Bürkert’s got a popular number for it’s stand at the Instrumentation Scotland & Offshore Systems Exhibition

The 2008 Instrumentation Scotland & Offshore Systems Exhibition will soon be upon us, the show is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of September and will bring together companies who supply products and services specific to the offshore industry, plus others who represent processing, power generation, paper, distilling, water and waste, and marine engineering. While you are there be sure to visit Bürkert at stand 118, we will be happy to answer any questions you have about superior quality processing valves and ancilliaries. Below is a list of some of our products that will be on display at the show.

Bürkert’s Type 8650 AirLINE-EX valve system offers the control engineer the opportunities of considerably reduced design, installation, validation and operating costs in ATEX applications. The 8650 valve system integrates directly into the Siemens ET200iSP Profibus DPV1 distributed I/O system, combining digital pneumatic output modules with integrated electronic analogue and digital I/O. The resulting system uses a single fieldbus node, and is suitable for installation in Zone 1/21, with electronic I/O and actuation/air connection possibilities into Zone 0/20.  This system concept also allows for redundancy of both the bus coupler and power supply module.

Other products include the Type 8643 I/O box that provides users with the efficient connection of digital control signals to a current automation system. It offers connections of up to 4 pilot valves and 8 NAMUR proximity switches. This allows extremely cost effective connections to a process control system. The I/O box communicates via Profibus PA or Foundation Fieldbus in accordance with IEC 61158-2 standard. It is available in either Polyester or Aluminium, it has an IP rating of IP65 and insulation class 3. The product is suitable for a range of applications in the oil and gas industry and chemical industry.

Bürkert will have many other products on display to demonstrate their range. These will feature extensive hazardous and safe area technologies including hygienic conductivity and non-glass pH electrodes. Other products on display comprise Solenoid Valves, Proportional Valves and Mass Flow Meters and Controllers, Process Valves, Process Pneumatics and Valve Islands and Measurement Sensors and Control Instrumentation, including the latest microprocessor-based Water Treatment Controller.

Bürkert Fluid Control Systems is one of the leading manufacturers of control and measuring systems for fluids and gases. The products have a wide variety of process applications and are used by the offshore industry as well as in water and waste treatment, brewing and distilling, food and beverage production and power engineering.
