On 4 May 2010, we announced, subject to a positive outcome of the due diligence, the acquisition of SKF Economos Belgium nv in Asse, Belgium. The positive outcome of the due diligence resulted in the finalisation of this acquisition on 30 June 2010.
As of this date the name SKF Economos Belgium nv has been changed into ERIKS Rubber & Plastics nv.
With approximately 20 employees and an extensive machine park ERIKS Rubber & Plastics strengthens the market position of ERIKS+BAUDOIN in Belgium and offers its customers a more integral product range for advanced engineering plastics, and above all improves the added value of Quick Supply.
The results of SKF Economos Belgium nv will be consolidated into ERIKS’ accounts as of 1 July 2010.
