The introduction of the CONTI SYNCHROCHAIN® ‘one-for-all’ belt drive solution that is ideal all-round synchronous belt for arduous applications, where it is essential to have not only maximum power transmission, but also maximum resistance to an adverse working environment. It is also a credible alternative to chain drives, as no lubrication is required.

In contrast to other synchronous belts which can be noisy and wear out pulleys it is quieter and less aggressive due its CTD profile and the special finishing layer on its working surfaces. CONTI SYNCHROCHAIN® ensures reliable power transmission for high torques and high dynamic stresses. In addition, it is very hard wearing, resistant to moisture, temperatures between -40°C and +100°C, and has excellent chemical stability. The belt maintains reliable, ‘maintenance-free’ performance even when exposed to harsh elements and aggressive substances such as salt, oil, grease and abrasive solid matter.
