The significant difference between this visit and a more normal trip to collect race components is that the Compact Cup is based on production cars and Paul’s new water pump was coming straight from the road car production line at Colwyn Bay, with no special treatment whatsoever.

A new production building has been officially opened at Klarius Group company M. Friesen GmbH in Oranienburg Germany. The move was necessary in order to allow increased production volumes of Friesen automotive starter motors and generators. Around 90 percent of the roof of what will be the fourth building has also been fitted with solar collectors: a total of 540 solar collector modules have been installed covering an area of 1300 m².
