The new catalogue contains type approved fuel saving exhaust systems, catalytic converters and exhaust ancillaries for most cars on the road today.
TIMAX, the only UK replacement exhaust manufacturer to gain type approval for ALL of it’s exhaust products sold in the UK and abroad, has released its biggest ever catalogue. With thousands of items available, including hundreds of new systems for this year, there is likely to be an fuel saving solution for your car, be it a Lambo or a Lupo.
There are two strong themes to this year’s catalogue release, cost saving for the driver and full type approval across the range. Klarius TIMAX is the only UK exhaust manufacturer to gain full type approval for every exhaust that it produces, this means that its exhausts match or improve the standards set by the OE manufacturer.
As well as noise testing, each exhaust has a carefully balanced back pressure which can save hundreds of pounds in fuel over it’s lifetime as the engine is working more efficiently across the most used part of the rev range, when compared to non-type approved alternatives, and all this with no increase in purchase cost.
The new TIMAX catalogue is the most comprehensive yet. As well as featuring over 200 new products the catalogue will also re-install 640 previously deleted items and include 1500 new references which were previously unidentified. Throughout the rest of the EU it is the law for exhaust manufacturers to achieve full type approval on all products; however this law does not exist in the UK. Klarius Timax is the only UK manufacturer that ensures that all of its products are type approved, this includes emissions, noise and back pressure checks.
Due to the type approval Klarius systems will improve a car’s fuel consumption, in fact the savings that it will produce will pay for the system several times over in fuel during its life.
The TIMAX brand is owned by group company Klarius. The company now boasts a 97 per cent UK market coverage for replacement exhausts, catalytic converters and filtration systems, and has invested heavily in UK production. This extensive range of exhausts and catalytic converters has long been associated with strong performance, reliability and high quality, and having the Klarius ‘K’ on an exhaust system is an industry recognised stamp of approval.
Today, the Klarius exhaust range includes over 5,500 references and covers 97% of the European car park and enjoy strong roots in many countries.
