UK customers for Mitsubishi’s latest range of laser cutting machines now have a new place to turn to for information on the super-efficient LVP Series and EX Series; including performance, installation, service support and consumables. www.mitsubishilaser.co.uk has been created by laser machine specialist and UK exclusive distributor World Machinery based in the Midlands.

World Machinery's Managing Director Mr Wayne Hipkiss commented, "The reaction to the new machines has been tremendous with significant sales already, even in today’s difficult economic trading conditions. We wanted a specific place where potential customers can learn about our experience in installing and supporting these machines, plus, see our new showroom and engineering works and watch videos of the machines working including what we have in stock and the ones we have already supplied to customers.

“The speed and precision of the machine is quite incredible, with a head speed of up to 10m sec, so being able to actually see them work and hear directly from people who have purchased and operated the machines is important. The low running costs combined with Mitsubishi's legendary reliability is makes the machine a great proposition for manufacturers as well as sheet metalwork sub-contractors. We also wanted the market to get a feel for our high levels of knowledge and competency with these machines" adds Wayne.

World Machinery specialised in supplying a huge range of punch presses, laser cutting machines and other CNCs, so it was vital that the new Mitsubishi machines have their own space both in the works and online. The company has an unbiased attitude towards satisfying customer needs, but in many instances this is proving to be the best machine for the job; the low running costs; plus a favourable finance package is proving very hard to compete with.

The machine uses a cross-flow laser design and a mirror based beam transit system, coupled with unrivalled beam stabilisation that ensures there is no loss of cutting power even at the furthest reach of the 4 x 2 meter bed. It offers the best of both worlds as we see it; the proven technology of the Mitsubishi beam transit system, that also makes the machine nearly £100,000 cheaper than some of the recently launched, and as yet, unproven fibre-optic transit machines, with the higher precision of the cross-flow laser.

Also featured on the new website is an innovative CAD/CAM package from Lantek, a partner company for World machinery. Designed specifically to allow easy integration of laser machines into existing production facilities it allows virtually any existing CAD platform to work seamlessly with the machine, as well as set-up and execute jobs either created by, or imported into, the Lantek software platform.
