medmix announces Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) membership

The ASC counts nearly 100 adhesive and sealant manufacturers, raw material and equipment suppliers, distributors, and industry consultants among its members. All in all, it represents roughly 75% of the industry in North America. Services offered by the ASC include education, networking, legislative advocacy, and other initiatives – all designed to promote business growth worldwide. The ASC is focusing its future efforts on its Long-Range Plan, which encompasses sustainability, end user engagement and advocacy. The aim is to support its members with dedicated services for these key industry pillars.

“New members are crucial to the ASC’s growth and with the implementation of our new long-range plan, we welcome new voices to help steer that process,” notes Steve Duren, Managing Director of Membership and Industry Programs at ASC(1).

Collaboration between the two organizations has already begun, with medmix working closely with the ASC to inform the industry regarding technical advancements in industrial adhesives. Furthermore, medmix was present at the ASC Conference & EXPO 2021 in October, where it delivered a presentation entitled “Reduce Plastic Waste with Collapsible, Multi-layer, Film Packaging for 2K Materials”, which focused on its MIXPAC™ ecopaCC™ collapsible cartridge.
