A global leader in fluid engineering, Sulzer was founded in 1834, in Switzerland and employs over 13,000 people. The company specialises in pumping, agitation, mixing, separation and purification technologies for fluids of all types.

With a network of 180 advanced manufacturing facilities and service centres spanning the globe, Sulzer offers customers localised support no matter where they are. Its solutions can be found in power generation, recycling, waste-water treatment, chemical processing, and even in carbon capture applications among others.

The Challenge

Sulzer provides a market-leading, advanced industrial pump analytics service, BLUE BOX™. This system combines artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics as well as expert application knowledge to provide accurate insights into pump performance. Using this, operator recommendations, predictive maintenance strategies, efficiency and reliability can be optimised.

Wanting to expand its reach into other industries, Sulzer wanted to develop a new campaign that appealed to customers and could be used to support sales teams.

Our Approach

With a proven track record of delivering successful marketing support, our team was familiar with Sulzer’s branding and marketing preferences.

We were able to apply our knowledge and industry insight to develop targeted marketing communications materials, such as Success Stories, 3D visuals, e-mails and presentations in close collaboration with stakeholders. These would also be housed on an informative campaign page that would act as a digital hub that users could explore and use to interface with Sulzer.

The Impact

The campaign broadened the awareness for BLUE BOX among prospects in the applicable industries, which has fully met Sulzer’s goals. At the same time, the knowledge of the sales teams could be extended to open new avenues with existing customers.
